10 Days from Marrakech to Chefchaouen – Merzouga Via Fes & Casablanca

Day dedicated to Marrakech, former imperial city. You will discover the majestic silhouette of the Koutoubia that dominates the red houses, the Saadian tombs; Then, visit the Bahia Palace, home to the great Vizier Ba Ahmed museum and the Dar Si-Said museum, former home of the vizier's brother, transformed into the Museum of Fine Arts. And we visit the majorelle garden. Continuation through Place Jemaa el Fna, the living heart of the city, the souk of dyers, corro.

We will start our journey from Marrakech towards the southeast. We will travel through the Tizi N-Tichka pass. It is a beautiful and impressive panoramic view, which gives us rich opportunities to take fabulous and memorable pictures. Furthermore, we continue our journey to the UNESCO heritage Kasbah Ait Benhaddou which is one of the most exotic and best preserved Kasbahs in the entire Atlas region. After having lunch at the Kasbah, we will take a tour of this historic castle to discover its landscapes and then continue our route towards the Dades Valley.

In the morning, we leave for our next accommodation to take a drive through the desert of Morocco in the usual life, as we will go through countless villages scattered along the road visiting a creative Berber family, observing how teams are created in Berber societies. you can notice that woman is the most important member of amazigh families. Afterwards, continue on to the desert trip via Erfoud. After a cup of tea at the hotel, you get ready for your camel trek to the desert camp, enjoying the moment of sunset and sleeping in tents.

Wake up early to see the beauty of the desert sunrise. Afterwards, you take the camels back to your hotel. After having breakfast and showering, you have a free day, you will have a unique opportunity to visit the village of Gnaoua. They will entertain you with their authentic instruments. After spending an interesting time with Gnaoua, we head to the town of Rissani to see the biggest market in the area. People from all nearby areas flock to this town to buy their living necessities... back to their hotel near the dunes.

After breakfast at the hotel, you get ready to leave for Fez. On our long way, we will pass through Erfoud, Errachidia, enjoying the natural landscape of the Ziz Valley. We will stop at some impressive natural sights and then continue towards the city of Medelt. In addition, we will go further to join the cedar forest and the beautiful town of Ifran, before arriving in Fez.

Today will be dedicated as a trip to explore faiths, Our local guide takes you to all its secrets and gives you enough information about this holly city. You will visit historic, tannery, cultural, heritage sites of the city, enjoying strolling through the narrow streets of the old medina. We will insist on seeing the most important sites such as the University of Old Qarawyine, the Jewish site, the Royal Palace…. After lunch, you will visit the traditional ciramica (tiled) cooperative and experience a wonderful panoramic view over the entire medina of Fez.

After breakfast at the hotel, we pick you up and head to Chefchaouen via volubilis and Wazzan. we continue our 10 day tour and depart for the blue city with a stop at the Roman ruins of Volubilis, where the founder of Islam in Morocco is located. Free night to walk around and explore chefchouen

In the morning we wake up, have breakfast and drive to the capital of Morocco «Rabat» to visit the Hassan tower, Oudaya kasbah; then we continue to Casablanca to also visit the second largest mosque in Mecca Hassan II. Free night in Casablanca, which is the first largest city in all of Morocco.
