Day1Chegada no Airport de Fes

Our driver/guide will be waiting for you at Fes airport. He will meet you and take you straight to your hotel. You will have free time to rest and explore the surroundings on your own. This is the perfect chance to start soaking up the unique atmosphere of Morocco. Hotel check-in is handled with the full support of our team, ensuring a calm, well-organised arrival.

Day2Fez – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Erfoud – Merzouga

Your 5-Day Tour from Fez to the Desert starts with pick-up at your hotel in Fez. We head south, crossing the Middle Atlas mountains. The first stop is Ifrane, known as “the Switzerland of Morocco”. We continue to the Cedar Forest of Azrou, where you can see Barbary macaques in the wild. The route follows the Ziz valley to Erfoud, gateway to the desert, ending the day in Merzouga. Overnight at a hotel overlooking the dunes.

Day3Merzouga Desert – Famílias Nómadas – Khamlia – Erg Chebbi

We start the day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel before setting off for the desert. Along the way we cross the fascinating Tiz Ntalghamt pass and the Ziz gorge, taking in the impressive views of the High Atlas plateau. You will notice how the landscape gradually changes, revealing the first signs of the desert as we approach the town of Errachidia. Here we stop for lunch and enjoy genuine Berber hospitality. After lunch we continue along the lush Ziz Valley, where the river feeds a string of oases that create a stunning landscape at the edge of the Sahara. We reach the impressive dunes of Merzouga (Erg Chebbi), where you will be welcomed with traditional Moroccan mint tea. In the late afternoon we set off on a memorable camel trek across the dunes of the Erg Chebbi desert towards our Berber camp. There you will enjoy a traditional dinner under a starry sky, wrapped in the absolute, magical silence of the desert.

Day4Merzouga – Errachidia – Zaida – Boulaajoul

Breakfast at the camp. Departure from Merzouga towards Boulaajoul. Stop in Errachidia to explore the town. We continue through Zaida, known for its unique landscape and agriculture. Lunch at a local restaurant along the way. Arrival in Boulaajoul in the late afternoon. Time to explore this authentic Moroccan village and its surroundings. Dinner and overnight in Boulaajoul.

Day5Boulaajoul – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Airport de Fes

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from Boulaajoul towards Fes airport. Stop in Ifrane, the “Moroccan Switzerland”, for a short visit of the town. Drive through the cedar forest of Azrou, with the chance to see Barbary macaques. Lunch at a traditional restaurant along the way. Arrival at Fes airport in time for your flight.
