Detailed itinerary

Day1Rabat – Guided tour

Welcome in Rabat and a visit of the capital: the Kasbah of the Udayas overlooking the Atlantic, the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the Chellah necropolis. Dinner and overnight in Rabat.

Day2Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes

Departure for Meknes, with its imperial walls and the Bab Mansour gate. Visit of the Roman ruins of Volubilis and a stop at the holy village of Moulay Idriss. Arrival in Fes in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight.

Day3Fes – Guided tour

A full day in the medina of Fes el-Bali with a local guide: the Bou Inania madrasa, the Chouara tanneries, the souks and the artisans' workshops. Lunch at a typical restaurant. Overnight in Fes.

Day4Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga

Crossing of the Middle Atlas via Ifrane and the cedar forest of Azrou. Lunch in Midelt and descent of the Ziz Valley to Merzouga. Camel ride at sunset and a night at a camp in the dunes of Erg Chebbi.

Day5Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

Sunrise over the dunes and breakfast. Journey via Rissani and Tinejdad to the Todra Gorge, with time for a walk. Arrival in the Dades Valley in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight.

Day6Dades – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

The Valley of the Roses, the Skoura palm grove and Ouarzazate in the morning. Visit of the ksar of Ait Ben Haddou and crossing of the High Atlas over the Tizi n’Tichka. Arrival in Marrakech in the evening.

Day7Marrakech – Guided tour

A full day in the red city with a local guide: the Koutoubia, the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, the Majorelle Gardens and the souks of the medina, ending on Jemaa el-Fna square. End of our services.
