DAY 1 : MARRAKECH - AÏT BEN HADDOU - OUARZAZATE - THE GORGES OF DADÈS
The first day we leave behind Marrakech to take the road to Ouarzazate. On the way we crossed the impressive Atlas Mountains, crossing the impressive Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass, with 2,260 meters high. At the midpoint of the trip we will arrive at Aït Benhaddou Kasbah, the most impressive fortified city in Morocco, and as a backdrop to films such as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator and Kingdom of Heaven. Then the route continues to Ouarzazate, where we will take Taourirt Kasbah. Taking "The road of the thousand Kasbahs" towards Skoura, we will cross the Valley of the Roses to finally reach the Gorges of Dadès, where we will spend the night. Sometimes, we will stay in Skoura.
DAY 2 : DADÈS GORGES - TODGHA GORGES - MERZOUGA
After breakfast, we head towards the Dadès valley, crossing the incredible gorges of Todgha, where we will stay a bit to enjoy the impressive landscape. Then, we head towards Merzouga, passing through the Jorf palm grove (which produces the best dates) and we will stop for lunch before arriving at Erfoud, a town famous for its fossil fragments. Having arrived in Merzouga, we will change our motorized vehicles by camels to submerge in the desert, and we will look for the Bedouin camp where we will spend the night. Here, surrounded by the silence of the desert, we will enjoy one of the most authentic dinners in Morocco.
DAY 3 : MERZOUGA - RISSANI-ALNIF-TAZARINE - DRAA VALLEY - AGDZ, MARRAKECH
If there is an inescapable sight in the desert it is the sunrise. After having enjoyed this quiet moment, the tour returns to your camels, to get to a hotel where we can bathe and have breakfast (depending on the type of camp, the breakfast and the shower can be before the camel ride). Passing through the palm grove of Tafilalet and the town of Rissani (where the Alaouite dynasty of Morocco comes from), the tour reaches Alnif, where we take the road that crosses the Anti Atlas mountain range. Through these extraordinary mountain passages we will reach Tazarine, (an important Berber village), N'koband, and finally the Draa Valley and its impressive palm grove. After having crossed the mountain range by the Tizi n-Tinifift Pass (1660 meters high), we arrive at Ouarzazate, where we will stop for lunch before continuing our journey back to Marrakech, leaving you at your hotel at night.
