6 Days Trip from Marrakech to the Desert In Morocco

Arrival at Marrakech airport, where you will be met by our driver guide and transferred to your hotel, later free time in the famous square to enjoy your time.

Depart in the morning heading east towards Ouarzazate via Tizi n'Tichka Pass through the High Atlas Mountains, stopping for scenic photos along the way. You will visit the village of Ait Benhaddou to see an ancient Kasbah classified by the UNESCO organization; it is one of the main tourist attractions in the world. Many famous movies were filmed there. You will continue to Ouarzazate, where there are the biggest film studios or the so-called Hollywood in Africa. Here you can stop for lunch (optional). Depart through Skoura, which is an extensive oasis of palm trees, where a beautiful Kasbah called Kasbah Amrhydil is located. Then, through the valley of Roses, where the annual festival of roses is held every May, in this town you will change direction and go off the beaten track where you will enjoy the tranquility of the mountains populated by the nomads of the region. After breakfast, we head towards the Dadès valley, crossing the incredible Todgha gorges, where we will stay for a while to enjoy the impressive landscape. Then, we head towards Merzouga, passing through the Jorf palm grove and stopping for lunch before reaching Erfoud, a town famous for its fossil fragments. Arriving in Merzouga, we will exchange our motorized vehicles for camels to submerge ourselves in the desert, and we will look for the Bedouin camp where we will spend the night. Here, surrounded by the silence of the desert, we will enjoy one of the most authentic dinners in Morocco.

If there's an inescapable sight in the desert, it's the sunrise. After having enjoyed this moment of tranquility, the tour returns to its camels, for the camp we can shower and have breakfast (depending on the type of camp, breakfast and shower may be before the camel ride). Passing through the Tafilalet palm grove and the city of Rissani (where Morocco's Alawite dynasty comes from), the tour arrives in Alnif, where we take the road that crosses the Anti Atlas mountain range. Through these extraordinary mountain passes, we will reach Tazarine (an important Berber village), N'koband and finally the Draa Valley and its impressive palm grove. After crossing the mountain range through the Tizi n-Tinifift Pass (1660 meters high), we arrive in Ouarzazate, where we will stop for lunch before continuing our journey back to Marrakech, leaving you at your hotel in the evening.

After breakfast accompanied by a local guide, you can start exploring Marrakech “the red city of Morocco”. We will make sure you see the most important places of historical and cultural interest, Koutoubia tower, Saadian tombs, bahia palace. After lunch in a restaurant close to the square, we will take you to visit the Majorelle Garden and the Yves Saint Laurent Museum. When the visit is over, we will return to the famous square. In the afternoon, you will have free time to explore other parts of the city, including the snake tamers in the square. Free night
